JASIS 2025 - Japan

In September, our Asia Pacific team showcased Glass Expansion at JASIS 2025 in Chiba, Japan, among over 400 exhibitors. We’re excited to return in 2026 with fresh innovations.

Analytica USA - Columbus, OH

At the end of September, the ICP Alley collaboration made a strong comeback at Analytica in Columbus, OH—the first U.S. edition of this renowned European conference. We were thrilled by the engaging discussions with visitors and partners, and we anticipate even bigger crowds next time. Leading into Analytica, we teamed up with ICP Alley partners CEM, GFS Chemicals, and Inorganic Ventures for two pre-show webinars.

Collaboration Spotlight

Featured Article in Spectroscopy Magazine

We’re thrilled to spotlight Justin Masone, Sales Manager for Glass Expansion in the Americas, in the September 2025 issue of Spectroscopy magazine’s “Advances in ICP-MS” supplement.

Justin authored the featured article: “The Role of the Nebulizer in ICP-MS: Design Considerations, Selection Criteria, and Optimization Guidelines,” which explores:

  • Nebulizer evolution from early pneumatic designs to modern types
  • Critical performance factors like droplet size and transport efficiency
  • Practical optimization advice for challenging matrices
  • Maintenance strategies to reduce downtime
  • Read Justin’s insights and the full supplement here.

Partnership with GFS Chemicals

Our ICP Specialist, Randy Mercurio, has been working closely with GFS Chemicals’ technical team to optimize their Agilent 8900 and Glass Expansion’s High Purity PCC Kit for ultra-trace applications. The PFA PCC Kit has boosted performance for elements like Al, B, Ca, K, Mg, and Na.

  • Learn more about the PCC Kit here and watch for our joint Application Note to be released in Q1 2026.

Oil Analysis Collaboration

Many of our technical specialists collaborated with Inorganic Ventures on analyzing oils (used, crude, edible) and biodiesel per ASTM D5185, D7691, and D6751. We showcased our top system for oil and organic analysis:

  • Slurry DC nebulizer
  • Twister spray chamber
  • NEW Guardian Probe

Paired with Inorganic Ventures’ eco-friendly bio-based organic solvent, this combination delivers exceptional results. Stay tuned for a three-part webinar series launching in 2026 summarizing our results.
